Fairy Garden
A fairy garden can be a whimsical and delightful addition to any garden. They are one of many small garden ideas because you don’t need a lot of room. If you have a balcony, patio or chair by your front door, you can have a fairy garden. A fairy garden can be big or small. They’re also great for kids’ gardening. A fairy garden generally includes some dwarf plants and fairy garden décor like fairy houses, fairy doors and fun fairy furniture. But there doesn’t need to be a lot of décor, or fancy things for that matter. Just a quiet presence with no real obvious signs of fairy habitation can spark the imagination. For example, a small one inch wide bridge can be made out of a branch over pebbles. Maybe there is the perfect fairy size sitting rock that can settle in amongst the Irish moss or elfin thyme.
Or for those who want more of a fairy presence, who adore all the whimsical and folksy fairy furniture and houses, you can create a small display or an entire glen!
